A large-scale Russia drone attack on Ukraine occurred overnight, killing two civilians and damaging critical infrastructure. Kyiv, Odesa, and Dnipro Targeted

General Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian military, described the attack as “a deliberate act of air terrorism.” He confirmed that Ukrainian forces destroyed most of the drones, but the remaining ones still caused serious harm.
Despite the response, the number of drones overwhelmed local defenses. As a result, two civilians lost their lives and dozens of buildings were damaged.

International leaders condemned the Russia drone attack on Ukraine. NATO and EU members urged swift action and called for increased military support to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense capabilities.
President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation. He demanded faster deliveries of modern defense systems and reiterated that Ukraine must be protected from future attacks.
